Annual Water Quality Report
We’re pleased to present to you this year’s Annual Quality Water Report. This report is designed to inform you about the quality water and services we deliver to you every day. Our constant goal is to provide you with a safe and dependable supply of drinking water. We want you to understand the efforts we make to continually improve the water treatment process and protect our water resources. We are committed to ensuring the quality of your water. Our water source is surface water from Wallowa lake, and Ground water from Well #L66036.

2024 Lead Line Inventory Survey
The City of Joseph inventoried all water service lines in the system and determined there were no lead service lines. This determination was made using building records and excavation to visually inspect.

The Joseph City Fire Department includes a dedicated group of men and women who volunteer their time and energy to provide fire services. The Fire Department covers property within the City of Joseph, plus the Wallowa Lake Rural Fire Protection District. Homes, ranches, farms, and businesses outside those areas can contract with the Fire Department for coverage.
The Fire Department volunteers conduct weekly drills covering numerous fire suppression, rescue, and maintenance subjects to keep their skills current and provide a safe and efficient working environment.

City Park

The Joseph City Park provides a quiet and beautiful location for numerous activities. Surrounded on one side by a peaceful waterway, the park has restrooms (RESTROOMS ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR THE WINTER), covered picnic areas with picnic tables, and a large open play area including playground equipment.
The City Park is open daily, year round from sunrise to 10 p.m. (PARK RESTROOMS ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR THE WINTER) Besides being a wonderful place for a picnic or to relax the City Park is used for reunions, weddings, major events, and sporting events.
The City does not reserve or rent the city park and by ordinance vendors are not allowed at the Joseph City Park. Its amenities are on a first come first serve basis. (Special requests for park use outside of ordinance needs be applied for and approved through the Joseph City Council prior to the event).
